When I download a PDF, Acrobat reader display the message : File was damaged and not able to download

The Temporary Internet Files (or cache) folder contains Web page content that is stored on your hard disk for quick viewing. This cache permits Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer to download only the content that has changed since you last viewed a Web page, instead of downloading all the content for a page every time it is displayed. To delete the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder, follow these steps:

  1. Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
  2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
  4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.

Why do module items display "Available the..." after the deadline?

The Temporary Internet Files (or cache) folder contains Web page content that is stored on your hard disk for quick viewing. 4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box , and then click OK.
  5. Click OK

NOTES:

  • If the Temporary Internet Files folder contains a significant amount of Web page content, this process may take several minutes to complete.
  • An administrator can customize your Temporary Internet Files settings and prevent you from changing them (for example, by removing the General tab from the interface in the Internet Options dialog box). If you cannot access the Internet Options dialog box or the General tab, contact your administrator for more information.

How does module validation (assessment) work?
To do the assessment is the only way to access to the next module.

You have a maximum of 3 tries to reach 100% of right answers.
If you don't match this ratio, your best score will be recorded and the access granted to the next module.

At your first try, the questions successfully completed are recorded.
You will get feedback and you will not be able to modify them.
Wrong ones will be reset.

For the second try, it works as the previous but wrong or partially wrong questions will give you feedback only on your selections to help you find the solution.

After the last try all the questions will be auto-corrected and you will be able to access to the next module via "choose a module" in the top menu.

What is the dead-line to validate a module?
There is no dead-line to validate a module. You are free to organize your work.
A new module is published every 2 weeks, but might sometimes be delayed for some days.
We therefore recommend you to keep track as well as possible, in order not to fall too much behind of schedule. Furthermore, the final exam can only be taken if all assessments have been validated before.

How to enlarge fonts, videos and images?
There are two ways :
  • Once connected to the course, there is a link on the upper side of the window close to the logo: "Full screen".
Use the "escape" key of the keyboard to go back to normal screen.
  • Many browser's versions allow you to zoom in or out the content of a page. To proceed:
Press the Alt key to temporarily bring up the original menus. At the top of the window, click the View menu, then go to Zoom.
Select either Zoom In, Zoom Out, or Reset for their corresponding action.

I am unable to select list items in clinical cases or assessment
This might have to do with the "Full screen" mode or browser's zoom in/out.
Go back to normal format display, select the desired items and come back to full screen.
OR
Press the Alt key to temporarily bring up the original menus. At the top of the window, click the "View" menu, then go to "Zoom" and select "Reset".
This issue can't be resolved in an acceptable way as the fullscreen mode doesn't take into account the real height of your screen in pixel.

What about final examination?

Final examination takes place on-line every year in June. In order to be able to access this examination all course modules must be completed. You will receive an advance email notification (2-3 months in advance) from the EULAR secretariat about the exact exam date and time. Please make sure you find out your correct local time using the time converter.
For the exam, we recommand to use your usual computer set-up to be sure it functions reliably.

Please note:
  • After successful completion of the exam, a link with your certificate will be provided by the webmaster so you can download it directly (copies will not be sent by post). Shortly thereafter, your on-line course account will be closed down.
  • The participants' individual exam questions and answers will not be made available to the participants after the exam.
  • In case you do not pass this exam, no attendance confirmation can be issued.
  • If you have not validated all assessments before your first exam date or if you fail the exam you are automatically eligible to take the exam once more the following year.
